New Year's Eve Party for kids. Ever since our children have been in diapers, we have had a party just for them.  All four children are allowed to invite a handfull of friends. We cook lots of finger foods and supply sodas of every flavor. We redecorate our Christmas tree with noise makers, hats, and streamers. We set up a tent in the back yard and fill it with flashlights, pillows, and board games. We start up the BBQ grill and make smores. Inside we have karoke, a treasure hunt, and movies.  The guests receive a ticket as they arrive for door prizes.  We make 'crackers' which is a paper towel holder cut in the middle and filled with candy and treats. Then wrapped in tissue paper.  Even though this is a children's party, we have had a few adults stay for games and smores.
